For sale is a very detailed and realistic eagle sculpture created out of a walnut log.
The sculpture stands approx. 4 feet tall. The eagle is in a hunting/flying/landing motion with the wings up and has a fish in one claw. The carving is sculpted with a chainsaw, then sanded. Sanding sealer and polyurethane was applied to seal the wood. What you see on this sculpture is the natural wood grain and color. The eyes are taxidermi eyes.
